Yummy Sunday : Leche Flan

Hello, Hello, it is SUNDAY once again and so here I am creating my entry for YUMMY SUNDAY. Last year I have attended my nephew’s wedding and I really loved their dessert – leche flan.

My mom knows how to cook leche flans and I have learned it when I was young. I love to eat leche flans because it is yummy and it is sweet.
This picture was taken last year at Pearlmont Inn while they are enjoying the reception, I am enjoying my leche flan.

Yummy Sunday: Shakey’s Fried Chicken

I have missed a lot of Sundays already and I don’t want to miss another one. So I am here making my post and sharing my lucky pick for this week. I want to share with you this yummy Fried Chicken we got at Shakey’s.

It taste different from the usual fried chicken I have at Jollibee or in Greenwich. It is good and it is different, so if you haven’t tried it yet, check it out.

FTF #11 – Tinolang Manok

I want to share one of my bf’s special viands – tinolang manok. I asked him to cook the chicken with “malunggay leaves” and thanks to him I was able to enjoy this Chicken Soup he made.
I am learning how to cook now, little by little. Asking my mother for help, sometimes, with the ingredients and the “how tos”. I had so much fun cooking in the kitchen, and I will share every detail of it in my upcoming posts.

M&M’s Inspired Wedding Cake

My nephew tied the knot today and his ex-girlfriend-turned-wife is good at baking cakes and cupcakes. Two weeks before their wedding, I asked Maycee how’s it going and she told me that everything is fine up to the last detail of their wedding.

Maynard and Maycee’s wedding has a different theme, they were inspired by our fave chocolate that melts in our mouth and not in our hand. Do you know what it is? Yeah, M&M’s.

Cooking 101

Cooking usually happens in the kitchen, right? Where all the kitchen utensils you needed are easily available that makes cooking more easily than in any other areas of the house. The kitchen is the most convenient are for cooking but what if you are a camper, a mountain hiker, or someone who loves to road travel? This is where your cooking and camping skills are tested.

I haven’t tried mountain hiking or climbing because my mother won’t allow me but I was able to meet a lot of mountain climbers and I know that it was hard to have a hobby like theirs. They needed to bring a lot of camping gear to aid them when they are on top of the mountain but they also needed to consider its importance because it is not easy to bring a lot of things (note: a camper needs to bring only the important things that are lightweight). But they should now forget that they needed to eat up there, so they need to bring a cooking pan or pot (small but can prepare food enough for one dining), noodles and bread can also help relieve their hunger.

I think a person who is hungry is capable of finding ways to eat, somehow.
